In Brief
This has got to be one of the best EVs currently available. Beautiful design and very well appointed vehicle. Hyundai has really stamped their place in the world of top ranked EVs with this fully electric platform built vehicle. The interior includes two 12inch screens – one for infotainment and the other a ‘digital guage cluster’ as the manufacturer is calling it. The vehicle supports 400V/800V charging and Hyundai claim you can get 100kms in just 5 minutes from a suitable DC fast charger. It also support V2L (vehicle to load) which means you can run devices from the car or indeed charge another vehicle from the Ioniq 5’s battery pack. The inside space in this vehicle is bigger than what it seems from the outside with some calling it the Tardis effect. There’s no doubt this great looking vehicle is a winner in every regard. With similar pricing to the Tesla Model 3 and with various model types available we think this is an outstanding effort from Hyundai.
