In Brief
The BYD T3 is simply phenomenal! With a range around 300kms it will easily do the daily round for many tradies and commercial operators, many of which average about 200kms daily. Based on that daily drive you’ll save anywhere from 50% to 75% in fuel costs annually with virtually no brake pad wear and dramatically less servicing. The battery is good for over a million kilometers and anyone not considering the savings will be at a competitive disadvantage. The price of this vehicle in comparison to the other examples we’ve seen in Australia such as the electric Renault Kangoo which cost over $50k, had less range and less cargo space, is unbelievable. We’ve talked about the Chinese invasion and this is another indication it’s started. This is amazing value for money from a company that’s been making EVs for 20 years and batteries for some time before that. In our opinion this one is a stunner – limited supplies so get in quick. EVDirect are the supplier – you can find them here.
