The vehicle won the 2013 Motor Trend Car of the Year award. It also received a 99 out of 100 from Consumer Reports (the highest rating ever) – oh … and it is rated as the safest car in the world. No it’s not a Lexus or an Audi or a BMW – not a Mercedes or a Ferrari or a Roller. It is the vehicle that has raised the bar for all the gas guzzling wannabes that are spewing their toxic exhausts in fits of disbelief. It is of course the Tesla Model S.
For the disbelievers who think electric cars are golf buggies, for the petrol heads who think acceleration is the domain of the V8s – it really is time to check out the most advanced car on the planet.
The internal combustion engine with its hundreds of moving parts is looking pretty shoddy these days compared to the one moving part in the motor of the Model S.
Oh and if you’re lucky enough to live in the US or Western Europe you can fill up from one of Tesla’s Supercharger stations for free – for ever!
All the high end manufacturers have seen the light and are moving to electric – they know the writing is on the wall, they know they have to switch, they know a bad ass car when they see one and they’ve all seen the Model S.
